Deadline for Abstract Submission Extended to December 31, 2024

Conference on Sustainable Materials, Manufacturing and Design aims to bring together academicians and researchers from various disciplines to share knowledge and exchange views, fostering useful industrial applications of composite materials. The conference will facilitate discussions on the latest trends in the entire spectrum of composite materials. The conference will also discuss the role of Sustainable materials for engineering applications which is the need of the hour to meet the ‘net zero’ demands. Research on materials ,manufacturing and design methods that will minimize the harm to the environment will assist in building a sustainable world.

We invite authors to submit original research papers and abstracts addressing the following topics 

• Sustainable composite Materials – Characterization,Processing & Properties

• Product Design and Manufacturing with Sustainable Materials

• Composites for Energy conversion and storage applications

• Bio Polymers and its Composites

• Recent developments in fibre and particulate composites for structural and tribological applications (fracture, fatigue, impact, wear, and friction, environmental studies)

• New Materials for sensors and actuators: Sensing the Future with New Materials

•  Intelligent Materials for Textiles

• Fire retardant materials and surfaces

• Smart Materials & Micro/Nanosystems

• Recycling and Waste Management of composites

• Reliability ,Life Extension,Life cycle assessments of materials

• Nano Materials and its Applications

• Composites for Geotechnical, Automotive ,Marine and Electronics Applications

• Artificial Intelligence in Predicting Mechanical Properties of Composite Materials

•  Applications of ML to Composite Materials Modelling and Design

Submissions are accepted in the form of abstracts or full papers. Authors should carefully follow the guidelines below:

• Abstract Length: Maximum 500 words.

• Full Paper Length: Maximum 10 pages (including references, figures, and appendices).

• Submission Format: PDF or DOC format.

• Submission Platform: Abstracts and full papers must be submitted through the CMT platform ( https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/SM2D2025 ).

• Important Dates: All deadlines are final. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Authors must ensure their submissions meet the following criteria:

• Formatting: Submissions should be formatted according to IEEE guidelines (or any specific format that applies).

• Originality: Papers must be original and unpublished. Plagiarism will result in rejection.

• Citation Style: Use APA/IEEE referencing style.

• Language: All papers must be written in English. 

• Authors should submit their papers using the official CMT conference platform. The submission link will be available on this page soon.

• Ensure that all files are properly formatted and meet the conference requirements before submission.
